Well Hello Whangerei

Doing pretty well for a gal who has never been North of Auckland

After being warned repeatedly about a low bridge in the area, my paranoia was on overload, and the first bridge I came across I decided not to go under, instead tried to haul the truck into a rather narrow corner into a parking lot. WELL oops - on so many levels. First the bridge was plenty tall enough for me, and second, the small 'keep right' sign on the side of the road is now a little smaller! Truck, driver and sign bounced back, and we eventually got to our accommodation.

My tasks for the day were:

1. Find 5 different coloured flowers    

I will be honest, being so close to Mothers Day and a beautiful day, this one was fairly easy. Can you spot the fake ones??














2. Take a photo of the worst lawn ornament you can find

I can't decide if I took this to showcase the gnome getting on the bike, or the rather frightening merecat







3. Find 3 houses in a row, but NONE of them can be white.
