Adventures In Unreadable Labels: The Spicy Sea Goodness Episode

The Seaweed Returns!
Okay! Today we have another seaweedy treat... Actually, having rummaged through the box a bit I think we may have some very readable labels coming up and maybe some guaranteed tasty treats, but until we hit those... IT'S MYSTERY TIME!
Today the seaweed is... crispy... is that good?
Description:
Yay! My little slightly racist friend is back! Perhaps he heard how much I liked his last offering!
But oh no! What is this? some thing is different this time... I think he may be unwell.
He seems to have a temperature.
Oh wait, I see what is up... these are not the tasty tempura seaweed treats of last week.
No, these are hot and spicy flavor!
2 chilis ... I wonder if this is a temperature rating or just art.
The packet also has this wonderful slogan to encourage me on: "delicious with good from the sea."
Of course it doesn't say what good thing is... so it's like, you know, a general good I imagine.. like the concept of good... so that is nice
...unless good is a type of seaweed or something...
It should be mentioned at this point that I am a weakling when it comes to spicy heat.
I mean, I like my curries and burritos pretty mild, and avoid chili and jalapenos so... this could get interesting if it's warmer than your average spicy Dorito.

First Contact:
USB plug for scale.

Well, there these... things... are a lot less pungent than their last representatives from the seaweed family. That briney/prawn cracker smell is there but just barely. I had to really inhale from the packet to get a wiff.
But WOW, look at the size of these things!
They are about the size of a standard fruit leather strip and as thick as the cover of an exercise book.
They have a papery/cardboard texture to the touch... they are flexible... not like the crisp texture of the last seaweed treats.
They almost feel like potato chips/crisps that have been out in the air for a week.
Well. time to bite!

Taste Time:
They take about 4 chomps per strip.
They partially dissolve in the mouth, kinda like a really flaky/thing pie pastry crust... but a little more robust.
Okay, they taste (unsurprisingly,) like a basic sushi roll, that sort of not-quite-vegetable-not-quite-seafood taste of the outer seaweed wrapping... so, yeah, they seaweed tastes like seaweed.
Spice wise: First bite I thought, oh... no spice at all!... but it grew almost instantly... still after the first stripe I was still a happy lad.
Second strip and my lips and tongue are tingling.
Third strip and onwards: Heat seems to have plateaued, which is good for me :)

Summary:
Yeah! again seaweed is a winner! I'm going to polish these off and add seaweed to my list of good snacks!
I think these spicy ones would be a great snack with a beer as well, and the size of them means they could last me a whole movie... well... if I didn't just scarf them all like I'm about to.
So, I know my suffering makes for great reading, so I'm sorry to disappoint again, but these are yummy treats! You can really taste the "Good."
