Palmerston North

So here I am in Palmerston North, our first stop on our tour of the North Island with Capital E, National Theatre for Children. Four actors, a technician, a company manager and me: on the road for two months. Scott is still at home but he has given me some tasks to complete on my days off.
1. A New Zealand flag up a flagpole
Being so close to ANZAC day, this was an easy win for my first task of the day

2. Get to the top of a tall building
Ok this was a bit of a cheat, I am only two floors up, but I did get into another buildings' elevator, and pushed some buttons, the doors closed and then opened on the same floor, so I sheepishly left, trying to look like that was the plan the whole time.

3. Find light that has been coloured by stained glass
I had to admit defeat on this one, I found a church, that looked like it had lovely stained glass windows, except I couldn't get inside to see the coloured light, I have to admit I didn't try THAT hard, I didn't really want to get caught breaking into a church!

4. Take a photo of a clock tower exactly on the hour
I am pretty pleased with this one - extra points for 12 noon? There was three different clock towers to choose from, this one seemed to be the only one that told correct time though.

I give you 3.5 out of 4 (none for the tall building but a bonus point for 12 noon!)

Looks like lovely weather!
