We are in Hanmer Springs now, very pretty, but I am glad I came prepared with insect repellent, they are particularly vicious here! We tried our hand at wotif.com and booked a mystery hotel before we left Christchurch, it has not been a dissapointment! This is what we ended up with!

We headed off from Christchurch about 11.30 am with Scott at the helm. We arrived at Hanmer Springs a bit too early to check into our hotel, so we had to stay in suspense a little while longer, but we found another minigolf course to keep us occupied.

There was also a VERY COOL maze that we tried, complete with water features and everything!!

After being suitably impressed with our accommodation, we walked over the road with our complimentary towels to soak in the hot pools. Fantastic.

Then back to the hotel with fish and chips in tow to watch Dark Knight.
