I will start by saying HAPPY NEW YEAR EVERYONE.
This time last year I was sound asleep and about to begin a fabulous day that involved getting sunburnt at Kawhia while sitting in a hole (good times)
Well we have finished our venture south, and now comes the slow climb up the country. (slower than originally anticipated due to out distaste of Queenstown)
We went to bluff and saw the end of New Zealand, the weather was suitably miserable so that made Scott happy.
Then we went back to Invercargill for a wonder around the streets and we bought a new air bed and some crocs for Scott. Yes he now has ugly shoes too, I am slowly infecting everyone, but I couldn’t talk him into the bright purple ones. After a night in Franz Joseph on the mattress with a “slow leak” (which went down in half an hour without us on it) we didn’t even bother blowing it up the second night, now we are both rather sleep deprived because of it. We checked into a very swish hotel for the night (no shortage of accommodation down here) and settled down to quietly see in the new year.
The world seems to be against us, there is a clock that chimes every quarter of an hour, it is situated a couple of meters from our window, they are good enough to turn it off from 7pm till 7am, but at six o clock this morning the alarm in the room next to us started screeching, the room must have been empty, because it continued to screech for the next HOUR! Then the clock started up again!!!!
On our wonder around town we managed to finish our list though (we have been working on this one for a while)
Person with an accent
this person (and partner) took the photo of us by the Glacier, I had to pretend I was taking photos of the scenery, in hindsight I could have taken a photo at the campsite, because there were a multitude of various accents there… oh well
This was on the fish and chip stand in Queenstown were we got our yummy dinner from.
Whitcoulls
Esk Street in Invergargill
a less than six sided die

We had to cheat for this one, this was at puzzling world, but this shape has 4 sides, and you could use it as a die if you wrote numbers on the sides.
Somewhere water related

This was the salmon farm South from Fox Glacier.

you mean book 2 or book 3?? I was impatient for you to get back with the book so I started reading it in the bookstore until the guy behind the desk came over, then I ran out. I saw the movie too. Decent but condenses a massive amount.
I am back at work today :o( SIGH!!!!
